Have you seen what you think is a puppy mill in Minnesota? Or a backyard breeder?  Have you purchased an animal from a pet store, the Internet or a classified ad and found the dog or cat was unhealthy once you got home? Have you filed an official complaint with local authorities (sheriff) or with the Board of Veterinary Medicine?

Send us your story. The dog and cat breeding industry in Minnesota is not licensed or regulated by the State; as a result, the inhumane breeding of dogs and cats continues to grow. Not only is this an issue of animal cruelty and suffering, it is also a consumer protection issue.

IMPORTANT: We are not a law enforcement agency. If you believe you have witnessed animal abuse or neglect, or experienced a crime relating to animals, please report it. Contact your local law enforcement and the Animal Humane Society immediately. This is a legal issue. No action can be taken unless a complaint is filed.
