Contact the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine The Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine (M.B.V.M.) is the licensing agency for veterinarians in the state of Minnesota. If you know or suspect that a breeder, pet store or other facility with live animals are conducting medical procedures without a veterinary license, file a complaint with the Board. If you are concerned about a breeder’s veterinarian and his or her medical behavior, report it to the Board. The Board of Veterinary Medicine has the authority to take disciplinary action and, where appropriate, to ask for assistance from the Minnesota Attorney General.
